Official Raffle Disclaimer & Terms of Entry

1. Ticket Sales & Drawing Details

  • Limited Ticket Odds: A maximum of 350 tickets will be sold. Odds of winning depend on the final number of eligible tickets purchased, not to exceed 1 in 350.

  • Drawing Date: The winning ticket will be drawn on November 14, 2026.

  • Purchaser Responsibility: Entrants are responsible for providing legible and accurate contact information (name, phone number, and email). CVMA® MO Chapter 4-7 is not responsible for unreadable, lost, or misdirected entries.

2. Vehicle Title, Registration & Delivery Partner

  • Dealer Assistance: Trustee’s Cycle Shop sourced the motorcycle for CVMA® MO Chapter 4-7 and will directly assist the winner with title transfer and state registration paperwork.

  • Winner Responsibilities & Fees: The winner is solely responsible for all costs required to take possession and legal ownership of the motorcycle, including but not limited to:

    • Missouri (or home state) vehicle sales tax, title transfer fees, and registration/license plate fees.

    • Obtaining valid motorcycle insurance and holding a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement prior to taking possession.

    • All transportation, shipping, or personal pickup arrangements from Trustee’s Cycle Shop in Moberly, MO.

3. Prize Condition & Acceptance

  • "As-Is" Condition: The motorcycle is awarded strictly "AS IS" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, by CVMA® MO Chapter 4-7 or Trustee’s Cycle Shop, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

  • No Cash Equivalent or Substitutions: The prize is non-transferable and non-assignable prior to title completion. No cash substitutes, redemptions, or exchanges will be offered.

  • Unclaimed Prize Forfeiture: If the drawn winner cannot be reached within 14 days of the drawing date (November 14, 2026), fails to execute required IRS tax forms, or is legally ineligible to take ownership, the prize will be forfeited. CVMA® MO Chapter 4-7 reserves the right to select an alternate winner or handle the prize in accordance with Missouri law.

4. Tax Responsibilities & IRS Disclosure

  • Tax Reporting & Withholding: The prize value is subject to federal and state income tax reporting. CVMA® MO Chapter 4-7 and/or Trustee’s Cycle Shop will comply with all IRS requirements (including Form W-2G). The winner may be required to pay mandatory federal/state tax withholdings prior to vehicle title release.

  • Charitable Contribution Notice: Under IRS regulations, the purchase price of a raffle ticket is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution, as it represents an entry into a game of chance.

5. Eligibility & Limitation of Liability

  • Age Limit: Entrants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of ticket purchase. Void where prohibited by law.

  • Liability Release: By purchasing a ticket, all participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless CVMA® Missouri Chapter 4-7, Trustee’s Cycle Shop, and their respective officers, members, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising out of participation in this raffle or the ownership, operation, or use of the motorcycle.
